Companion Terms
Last updated 6 October 2026.
Companions must be 18 or over, provide accurate profile information and follow Acompny's strictly platonic Community Standard.
Companions choose which connection requests and meeting invitations to accept. No booking volume, minimum hours or income is guaranteed.
The current standard Companion fee is £50 per hour. Duration, expenses, tickets and any travel arrangements should be clear before a meeting is accepted.
Meeting payments are arranged directly between the Member and Companion. Acompny does not currently collect or distribute the Companion meeting fee and does not take commission from it.
A Companion may leave or cancel an interaction where they reasonably feel unsafe, pressured or uncomfortable. Payment never creates entitlement to physical contact, affection, sexual activity or any activity outside the agreed platonic meeting.
Companions must not solicit prohibited sexual services, misuse Member information, evade safety controls, harass or coerce another user, or use Acompny for unlawful activity.
Companions are responsible for their own tax and legal obligations arising from income they receive. Employment, worker and tax status depend on the real circumstances and applicable law, not merely the label used by the platform.
Safety reports and complaints may result in investigation, temporary restriction, suspension or removal from the marketplace where reasonably necessary to protect users or comply with law.
